We are excited to announce that we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and self-driven EFL Educator to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis starting academic year 2026/2027!
As a TEFL Educator, you will:
- Share your knowledge and passion for English as a foreign language with our students, helping them gain a deep understanding of the subject.
- Set high expectations that challenge learners to reach their full potential and expand their knowledge.
- Plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and align with curricular objectives.
- Manage classrooms effectively, maintaining a positive and disciplined environment for learning.
- Use your time and resources efficiently to maximise learning outcomes.
- Provide thoughtful and constructive feedback on students' work, using assessments to continually improve your teaching.
- Utilise homework to reinforce and extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues during weekly meetings to discuss student progress and share insights on professional growth.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised TEFL/CELTA/CertTESOL qualification (MQF Level 4 or 5) and possesses (or is eligible for) an ELT Permit issued by Malta's ELT Council.
- Is proficient in Maltese and English.
- Has a strong educational background in English/TEFL and is passionate about the subject.
- Brings high expectations to the classroom and practices effective classroom management.
- Is genuinely interested in the science of learning and dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and thrives as part of a collaborative team.
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a clear vision to all aspects of school life.
- Has a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives and future success of our students.
- Holds a clean police conduct and has strong references.
