Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College are seeking a caring, organised, and proactive School Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis starting academic year 2026/2027.
As School Nurse, you will play an essential role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and safety of our students and staff. You will:
• Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff during the school day.
• Assess illnesses and injuries and determine appropriate action.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for students and staff.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of individual healthcare plans for students with medical conditions.
• Administer medication in accordance with school policies and parental consent procedures.
• Monitor student wellbeing and provide guidance on health-related matters when appropriate.
• Promote healthy habits, wellbeing, and preventative healthcare practices within the school community.
• Ensure that medical supplies, first aid kits, and healthcare equipment are appropriately stocked and maintained.
• Liaise with parents, educators, and external healthcare professionals to support students’ medical and wellbeing needs.
• Assist in maintaining health and safety standards across the school environment.
• Support the school during educational visits, activities, or emergencies where medical assistance may be required.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate and professional individual who is passionate about supporting the wellbeing of children and young people. Candidates must:
• Hold a recognised qualification in Nursing and be registered with the Council for Nurses and Midwives in Malta.
• Have previous experience working with children or within an educational setting, preferably.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be highly organised, discreet, and able to handle confidential information professionally.
• Be proficient in English; knowledge of Maltese would be considered an asset.
• Be capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with staff and parents.
• Hold a clean police conduct certificate.
• Provide strong professional references.
