St Martin’s College is looking to hire an enthusiastic, creative, and self-driven Accounts Educator on a part-time basis for scholastic year 2024/2025. 

  

Main duties and responsibilities for the role:  

• Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the subjects/areas to be taught. 
• Set in high expectations to challenge learners and deepen their knowledge and understanding. 
• Plan effectively. 
• Employ methods and organisational strategies which match curricular objectives and the needs of all learners. 
• Manage learners well and achieve high standards of discipline. 
• Use time and resources effectively. 
• Assess learners’ work thoroughly and constructively and use assessments to improve teaching. 
• Use homework effectively to reinforce and/or extend what is learned in school. 
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss learners’ and one’s own progress at school. 

  

Skills, knowledge, and experience:  

• Have an educational background in Accounts. 
• Be in possession of a recognised qualification at MQF Level 6 or a recognised comparable qualification in the subject/area applied for. 
• Be passionate about the subject and a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management. 
• Be interested in the science of learning and committed to continuous improvement. 
• Can demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a team. 
• Have clear vision, energy, and commitment to all aspects of school life. 
• Have desire and passion to make a real difference in the lives and life chances of our learners. 
• Be in possession of a clean police conduct. 
• Have good references.
