St Martin’s College is looking to hire an enthusiastic, creative, and self-driven Accounts Educator on a part-time basis for scholastic year 2024/2025.
Main duties and responsibilities for the role:
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the subjects/areas to be taught.
- Set in high expectations to challenge learners and deepen their knowledge and understanding.
- Plan effectively.
- Employ methods and organisational strategies which match curricular objectives and the needs of all learners.
- Manage learners well and achieve high standards of discipline.
- Use time and resources effectively.
- Assess learners’ work thoroughly and constructively and use assessments to improve teaching.
- Use homework effectively to reinforce and/or extend what is learned in school.
- Participate in weekly meetings to discuss learners’ and one’s own progress at school.
Skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Have an educational background in Accounts.
- Be in possession of a recognised qualification at MQF Level 6 or a recognised comparable qualification in the subject/area applied for.
- Be passionate about the subject and a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
- Be interested in the science of learning and committed to continuous improvement.
- Can demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.
- Have clear vision, energy, and commitment to all aspects of school life.
- Have desire and passion to make a real difference in the lives and life chances of our learners.
- Be in possession of a clean police conduct.
- Have good references.
