We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Educators to join us on a full-time basis starting scholastic year 25/26. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in supporting students with a Statement of Needs, helping them grow academically, socially, and personally.
What You’ll Do
As a Learning Support Educator, you will be a vital member of our inclusive education team, collaborating with teachers and professionals to nurture the well-being and learning journey of each student. You’ll:
• Provide tailored support to students, both 1-to-1 and in small groups, ensuring their success in and outside the classroom.
• Help students during break times, outings, and off-campus activities to ensure they feel included and supported.
• Develop creative learning resources and adapt assessments to meet individual needs.
• Work alongside teachers to modify curriculum and provide personalised support, including the planning and evaluation of learning strategies.
• Support students with additional needs in areas like social integration, communication, literacy, numeracy, and behaviour.
• Attend teacher meetings to advocate for the needs and abilities of students, contributing to their educational journey.
• Provide personal care support where required, always ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ lives. You’ll need:
Language Skills:
• Fluency in Maltese and English.
Qualifications:
• A recognised MQF Level 7 qualification in a relevant area or
• An MQF Level 6 qualification in a relevant area (or equivalent) or
• Advanced and Ordinary Level certification in core subjects like Mathematics, English, and Maltese (minimum Grade E).
Skills & Attributes:
• A flexible and creative mindset to engage and inspire students.
• Confidence to teach across multiple subjects, adapting as needed.
• A team-oriented approach and excellent collaboration skills.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice.
• A valid and clean Police Conduct Certificate/background check.
• Strong references to showcase your expertise and dedication.
